BABU JUMP is the ultimate thrill ride in escaping the disastrous inferno coming to wipe out everything on earth. The character BaBu is an adorable blue creature who takes on the responsibility of saving the earth from this enormous inferno.
At the start of the game, a meteor shower comes crashing down on earth bringing along a giant wave of inferno. Your BaBu flies in and you will be instructed on the basics of how to play the game. The basic objective of the game is simple. You have to maneuver your BaBu to land and bounce on monsters and fruits while avoiding rocks and oils. Simply touch the screen to descend, hold to run, and let go to jump. The mechanics of the control is to hold and let go of the screen to execute perfect jumps or bounces off the monsters' heads to travel forward. The more accurately you time the jumps, the further you will go. There are obstacles like rocks and oils throughout the different levels so it's important to time your jumps and runs. If the jumps are not timed correctly, BaBu will miss the monsters and travel at a slower speed allowing the inferno to eat BaBu alive.
As BaBu clears each stage and moves on to the next location, the environment setting will change along with the difficulty. There are more obstacles as the game goes on. You must master the jumps more efficiently in order to stay on pace to the end.
On BaBu's exciting journey to save the earth, there are coins for you to collect. By collecting these coins, you will have the option to buy a variety of upgrades. "BaBu Power" will boost your jumps. "Power Calls" includes multiple creature summon spells that help you with each of their unique powers. You can also purchase more life and better fruits to jump on which gives you more bonuses when you combo multiple jumps.
you will have an awesome time facing the powerful boss stage. After you have defeated the boss, survival mode will open up and you can explore whole new worlds with new creatures to stomp on. On top of it all, you can collect special trophy eggs as you progress through the game. You can also see how you rank among the other top players in the world in Game Center.
The game runs pretty well on my IPhone 4S and I had no problems with lagging. I thought it was an interesting game that gave me an opportunity to stomp on lots of creatures while saving the earth.
