Fight your friends in our RTS-action game, Castle Raid
Swedish developer Arcticmill releases intense iOS real-time strategy action game Castle Raid; a single-device multiplayer game that requires both action and thinking skills.
Fight your way to the opponent's castle, whilst protecting your own! Keep your head cool as the green open fields turn into a fierce battlefield. In the new iOS real- time strategy action game Castle Raid it's up to you to control the faith of the kingdom.
Castle Raid is a single-device multiplayer game engaging the player in mind and body. It requires fast thinking and decisive action. The enemy sends attacking soldiers in wave after wave, in an attempt to raid your castle. But defending it won't be enough. To be victorious your retaliation has to be carried out with great skill.
Use peasants to gather material; train foot soldiers, archers and knights; send spells and lightning as you challenge your friends in multiplayer mode. Or battle the built-in enemies in single-player mode - no matter which, the battles last 5-8 insanely intense minutes and can be fought on many different battlefields. Castle Raid is designed for the casual gamer looking for some action packed couch time as well as for the more savvy gamer craving strategy thinking in hyper speed.
"There really wasn't any great real-time strategy action game out there. We wanted the intensity from an action game combined with the strategic thinking challenge from traditional RTS games. It was crucial for us to nail the social experience of playing with your friend over one single device. Combine this with our long time love for the fantasy genre and you've got Castle Raid.", says Gustav Skoglund, founder of Arcticmill.
Arcticmill, based in Stockholm, Sweden, produces games, widgets and tools - or as they say it: 110 % dedicated to creating things that make life even more fun.
Castle Raid is available now in App Store at $1.99 (Universal). Read more: http://www.castleraidgame.com
