Simulation and Creativity!

In general, "iFluids HD" lets you create artwork by doing artistic movements using a 2D fluid simulation engine. The simulation engine is running when you create impulses or inject colors through single or multiple finger touches. Now, the fluid starts to move in a typical fluid like fashion, where you can choose, whether it should move fluently or rather visciously. You can determine the resolution of the simulation and display. E.g. choosing a high resolution lets you create very fine details and curls in your end picture, and deciding for a low simulation resolution creates bigger fluid structures. So it depends on what kind of fluid picture you like to create.

In the end it is your creativity, which makes a rich and unique fluid artwork!

The basic creation process:

iFluids HD offers two modes to work with: color and image mode.The basic process of creating fluid images with iFluids HD is, you start in color mode to create your base image, which you are going to distort through fluid motion in image mode. In color mode you have the option to inject several predefined colors ranging from a deep ocean blue to juicy grass green, but always having a look of plasticity. When injecting you choose the brush size you want to inject your color with.
