Interactive & Engaging Social App for Kids
The Ohio Art Company, known for the famous drawing toy Etch A Sketch, is now launching their first app, Appets! Appets is an interactive, engaging, social app for girls ages 5 to 12. It takes place in an immersive world, complete with friends, shopping, food, games, challenges and creativity. This app encourages girls to form friendships with the game's characters through quests and mini-games and allows them to make their own world by decorating their house and personalizing their individual character. How does it work?
Welcome to the Appets Island! To get started, girls simply create and personalize their very own Appet character before moving into a virtual house. Once settled in, girls can begin to collect items to decorate their house and start interacting with three new neighbors, Penny, Kennedy and Sadie. With Appets, girls can also:
- Build friendships by chatting with neighbors and going on quests for them
- Record quests in a scrapbook. For every quest completed, girls get a sticker!
- Shop in the three stores for yummy food, stylish clothes and cool furniture! While there, chat with the friendly shop keepers
- Have fun playing the mini games- Can you take pictures of all the birds? Build the sweetest sand castle? Grow the tastiest tomato?
- Saving up for that cool TV? Exchange dollars for coins with in-game transactions to get it even faster!
