TagMe - GPS/Location Tagging

Intro

TagMe is a futuristic app, which will make you get rid of text based addresses. You can use this app to tag your current location on the planet and store it inside the app and view it anytime in Google Maps. You can then share these stored locations to your friends and families via simple SMS and eMail messages. You can either tag your location using GPS Satellites or directly from Google Maps. You can navigate to a tagged/shared location using the Google Maps navigation feature. You can also enjoy viewing many of the pre-tagged famous locations of the world using this app.

App Features

Tag using GPS: You can tag your current location using the GPS chip of your phone, which can contact a constallation of GPS Satellites moving above you. This can pin point your location on the earth and show you the latitude and longitude of the same. You can label this lat,long data with a name and store it inside the app.

Once, you store it inside the app, you can click on it to perform any of the following oprations:

• View the location on Google Maps
• Navigate to the location using Google Maps Navigation feature
• Share it to other TagMe users seamlessly using SMS
• Share it to non TagMe users via text SMS
• Share it to all users via eMail

Tag using Map: Suppose if you are not getting GPS Satellites due to bad weather or trees above you or if you are inside the buildings, you can use the 'Tag using Map' feature. You can simply open this feature, which will show you a Google Map of the whole world. You can then zoom into your current location and tap on the same to get the latitude and longitude. You can label the location name and store it inside the app. This can also be shared via SMS and eMail.

Received Locations: You can see the location tags that are received from others under this "Received" tab. From this tab, you can view the received locations and navigate to them. You can further share it with others via SMS and eMail.

Famous Locations: This is an entertaining feature of the app. Under the tab "Famous", we have pre-tagged some of the world famous locations for you to see using the Google Maps. You can have a mind blowing satellite view of these locations with a single touch. You can also suggest new famous locations to be added to this list. We believe you will spend more time on this feature of the app since it is very interesting to see these locations from above.
