UpTo Launches 'Discover' Release, Features Hundreds of Event Streams

UpTo, the future-focused social platform that empowers your calendar, is launching another big update. The latest version of UpTo for iPhone introduces a "Discover" section that makes it simple for users to find and follow Event Streams - which could be anything from sports schedules and tech events to local business and city calendars. As part of this update, UpTo has added hundreds of new event streams, including streams for NFL, College Football, MLB, NBA and NHL teams.

Apple is promoting the new release as a featured app in the app store. Apple has said about UpTo: UpTo "combines the look of a calendar with the sharing capabilities of a social network. http://t.co/Uor14seG."

UpTo has also added a number of curated streams, including a 2012 Presidential Election stream and streams for Fall TV Premieres and upcoming Movie Releases. Users can follow a stream to view its upcoming events in their main UpTo feed, comment on any of these events, add events to their calendar, and share those events with their friends.
