YellowFlag Mobile Football App
With YellowFlag, Now College and Pro Football Fans Can Tailgate Virtually with Friends from Anywhere in the World
YellowFlag, now available in the App store, is like having a tailgate in your pocket. The free app is the world's first social network dedicated to college and pro football fans. YellowFlag's mission is to empower fans and connect friends through football.
Using the YellowFlag iOS app, fans can track, connect and share real-time updates about college and pro football games from anywhere in the world. YellowFlag introduces the concept of "social texting" to facilitate a tailgate-like atmosphere.
"Tailgating is popular because it's social, real-time conversations between the friends you care about most," said Josh Peyton, CEO, YellowFlag. "But when you can't be there physically, YellowFlag provides a virtual tailgating experience to football fans everywhere, regardless if they are on vacation, traveling for business, or watching the game at home on their couch."
Peyton's goal is to staff the company with fellow wounded and non-wounded veterans, seeking to both provide opportunity to those who have served the nation and capitalize on the leadership and innovation skills often found within retired soldiers.
"As a Wounded Warrior myself, YellowFlag's philanthropic goal is to hire qualified veterans and wounded warriors, giving them access to a career in a field that, in my experience, most soldiers are highly passionate about: football," said Peyton.
Aiming to become the most interactive second-screen mobile sports platform for football fans to date, YellowFlag has registered two U.S. technology patents for its touch-face cross communication and social texting communication tools. The tools empower users to rapidly communicate during live football games.
